Better Way Garage Doors Workmanship Warranty
New Garage Door & Opener Installations
Better Way Garage Doors warrants its installation workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation.
This workmanship warranty covers defects resulting directly from installation performed by Better Way Garage Doors, including:
- Improper installation of garage doors or garage door openers
- Installation-related operational issues
- Installation-related hardware adjustments
- Installation defects affecting normal operation
If a covered workmanship defect occurs during the warranty period, Better Way Garage Doors will repair the issue at no charge for labor.
Repair Service Warranty
Repairs performed by Better Way Garage Doors are covered by a 90-day labor warranty from the date of service.
This warranty applies only to the specific repair performed and does not extend to unrelated components or future failures caused by normal wear and tear.
Replacement parts installed during a repair are covered by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.

The Better Way Garage Doors workmanship warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic damage occurring after installation
- Damage caused by accidents, abuse, misuse, neglect, or vandalism
- Vehicle impact or physical damage
- Acts of God, including storms, lightning, flooding, fire, wind, or other natural disasters
- Power surges or electrical issues originating outside the installed equipment
- Improper maintenance or failure to maintain the system
- Damage caused by third-party repairs, alterations, or modifications
- Structural settling, shifting, or movement of the building
- Rust, corrosion, or deterioration caused by environmental conditions
- Commercial use of products intended for residential applications
Owner Maintenance Responsibilities
Garage doors are mechanical systems that require regular maintenance for safe and reliable operation.
To help maximize the life of your garage door system, we recommend:
- Annual professional inspections
- Regular lubrication of moving parts
- Testing safety reversal systems and photo-eye sensors
- Periodic tightening of hardware and fasteners
